Novamelt offers, under the brand name Novamelt® PS, a wide range of pressure sensitive adhesives based on thermoplastic rubber.

For almost all self adhesive applications, from strong permanent to removable adhesion with low tack and peel, a suitable product is offered. The major fields of application are label stock, self adhesive tapes or hygienic products. For many industrial intermediate products such as sound dampening or packaging technology, the self adhesive technology offers a smart and economical alternative compared to a mechanical assembly process.

At room temperature, the products are solid. These products are supplied in siliconized cardboard boxes containing 4, 8 or 20 kg or in fibre drums containing 165 to 175 kg.

Hotmelt adhesives are melted with block melters or drum-unloaders. Coating is made at 150 to 180 °C, depending on the specific application, on standard roller- or slot-die-coating machines.
